Coffee may boost female sex drive … !

“Do you want to come up for a cup of coffee … ?”

It turns out that there may be a bit more to this seemingly innocuous invitation than may have been previously realized!

According to at least one recent study, coffee may be effective in increasing female libido, by stimulating the part of the brain that regulates arousal.

Along with fine chocolate, the chemical properties of which have been well-known for centuries (and now supported by science) to inter-act joyously with a woman’s pleasure hormones, coffee may now add a new tool to a man’s seduction arsenal!

According to the study, a moderate dose of caffeine given to laboratory animals before mating shortenened the amount of time it took for the females to return to the males after sex, for another mating session.

The study said they effects appeared to go beyond a simple boost of energy for socializing.

Other experts however caution that the amount of caffeine required to make a significant difference (about 10 cups) is too large, and that the effect may only apply non-regular coffee drinkers, who have not built up a tolerance to caffeine.

Since caffeine appears to be the effective component, it is possible that other methods of delivery, such as caffeine pills, or other caffeinated beverages, might be equally as effective.

Even chocolate contains natural caffeine, which may even account for at least some of the substances arousal qualities!

Experts also caution that proper caffeine dosing can be tricky, since too much caffeine can cause jitteryness, inablility to focus, and nervousness - all factors which would run counter to the desired arousal effect.

In the end, it may be that if you invite her “up for a cup of coffee” and she accepts, or if she invites YOU up, that attraction and arousal are a moot point to begin with!

In any case, a little “late night boost” won’t hurt, even if you never get to finish your cup!
